Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she performed in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a BA (with honors) in Theater and Communication. When she moved from Missouri to Los Angeles in 2004, she took part in theater arts. She was involved in acting and directing in more than 20 musicals. The productions include The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan for The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. In addition to continuing her studies in improvisation at The Groundlings and becoming a Company member of Theatre West Kelly also started getting roles for television and film. Her voice is distinctive and her diminutive size allows her to play a variety of characters. She's best known as Naomi Watts's evil Samara from The Ring 2, but her most well-known role is as the cheerful receptionist in Two and a Half Men. From 2011 to 2015 Kelly played a paralegal at-day/party hopper at-night as a Series Regular on The TV Land comedy The Exes. Alyssa Mio's smart sexpert her little sister, was Kelly's frequent part in ABC Romantically Challenged. No Tomorrow on the CW featured her as a stressed-out suburban mum. Her soprano voice has been heard in numerous animated series like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recent appearances include her as the lovable, dim Cloud 9 employees on NBC's Super-hit comedy Superstore. She lives a quiet life that's quite quiet with her two sons who are younger than 5 years old. She loves to sew and write and volunteers in various school activities.
