Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in NYC on 22 November 1984) - Her versatility as an actor has garnered her much acclaim, from dramas of the past to suspenseful films and even adventures. Johansson was born in New York City, and lived there with her father who was an architect and her mother, a producer. Hunter was her twin sister, was also born in the City of New York. When she was a child she began to develop a passion for performing and started performing in commercials by the age seven. In a brief time span beginning her study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Later on there was a Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. In the age of eight, she starred together with Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry and, at the age of nine she made her debut in film with Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson starred next on screen in Just Cause (1995), after which she made her debut by starring in Manny & Lo - a story of two sisters and orphans that escape. When she was a kid she fell in love with acting. Smith got her first job as an actor at age six with the help of her parents. The role was in an Dannon yogurt commercial. In the same way as other young actors, she started her stage career. In addition, she worked on other productions across the USA as well, and Wildflower was her debut on stage show. She studied at an institution called the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
